You’re Invited: Bites & Insights – Changing Mental Health Systems & Practice
news | Words Stacey Hemphill | 03 Jun 2025
You are invited to join us for Bites & Insights, a three-part live chat series, diving into the real-world experiences, challenges, and breakthroughs of people working to change systems and practice for the better.
Over the past decade, Innovation Unit have been working with places across the UK to co-design, develop and scale new models of mental health support. Our goal has been to support practitioners and system leaders to collaborate with people using services to grow person centered, strengths based, holistic community powered support.
From scaling Living Well across Greater Manchester and Derbyshire to developing Trieste inspired mental health hubs in York, including a soon to be live 24/7 neighbourhood mental health centre, we’ve helped systems move from vision to delivery.
We now want to share our learning about what it really takes to change mental health systems.
Join us for Bites and Insights, a three-part live chat series, diving into the real-world experiences, challenges, and breakthroughs of people working to change systems and practice for the better.
Each 45-minute session will feature a candid back-and-forth between a facilitator and someone from the mental health transformation community who’s been in the thick of it tackling tough questions and sharing real stories.
What to expect
- 25 minutes of live, unscripted chat between the host and a guest
- 20 minutes of open discussion, where you can ask questions in the chat
- A quick wrap-up email, with highlights and options to stay connected
