About Ellie

Ellie has been Innovation Unit’s Graphic Designer since 2019, and works across the entire Innovation Unit portfolio. 

Ellie works with Innovation Unit because she is driven by making design an accessible and powerful tool for everyone to tell great stories and make change. She is also passionate about tackling inequalities that exist in graphic design, by using trauma-informed and web accessibility practices to enhance the impact of design outputs. She believes in designing with, not for. She cares deeply about creating welcoming environments for creative energy to flourish in co-design workshops, by removing barriers for people who feel design is not for them, and to give lasting brand autonomy to the people she is designing with.

Ellie has a degree in Fine Art from Newcastle University and worked in Product Development before studying Graphic Design at Shillington College in 2018.
