Nick Webb

Nick joined Innovation Unit in 2018 and having led the successful National Lottery funded Living Well UK programme (2018-22), he now focuses on developing opportunities for new work in adult and children and young people’s mental health.

Nick is interested in how we respond emotionally to ourselves and to each other and how those responses shape systems of mental health support and entrench inequalities.

Motivated by family histories of mental ill health and trauma, his ambition is to co-produce bold new forms of giving, receiving and supporting that enable people to find their agency, purpose and voice.

Nick previously worked for London Borough of Camden, Nesta and Mind, where he helped to pioneer new approaches to social housing, commissioning, grant making and leadership development.

He lives with his family in St Albans, Hertfordshire.
