About Nadia

Nadia joined Innovation Unit as a Project Coordinator and Researcher in July 2025, and is involved in community-led initiatives that promote equitable solutions and long-term systemic change.

Nadia has a passion for social and racial justice, and is dedicated to building a fair and just society. She is particularly drawn to Innovation Unit's non-hierarchal and insight driven approach to generating sustainable systemic solutions to tackle inequality. She is driven by the opportunity to amplify the voices of marginalised people, and sees this as crucial for dismantling oppressive systems.

Nadia brings a diverse professional background, blending academia, charitable work, and corporate events management and uses her skills to facilitate meaningful engagement and drive positive social change.

Nadia lives in Preston, with her partner and her dog. In her personal time, she can be found throwing weights above her head at her Olympic Weightlifting club, volunteering in the community or spending time with her family.
