About Lizzie
Lizzie oversees and develops Innovation Unit’s learning partnerships and programmes, and is part of our Communications team.
Lizzie is fascinated by people and their stories. She believes that we have to understand the world from different perspectives - especially those who are often marginalised or ignored - in order to create a society which is equitable, just and kind. She asks lots of questions, and helps others to do the same, exploring how we can build the knowledge we need to drive lasting change together. She is passionate about working collaboratively, and challenging traditional power structures.
Lizzie has an academic background in social policy, and over a decade of experience in the charity sector, with roles in communications, delivery and impact. Prior to joining IU, Lizzie was Co-Production and Learning Manager at Co-Production Collective at UCL, where she worked as a learning partner for organisations including Camden Council and National Voices. She is also on the board of anti-poverty charity, Z2K.
Lizzie is a Scouser living in London, where she can be found people-watching, attempting to learn Welsh, and taking too many photos of her cat.
