
About Frances
Working with the Innovation Unit since 2017, Frances has supported partners to test and scale innovations that have improved the lives of vulnerable young people and families. In recent years she has provided individual and group Coaching, reflection and learning discussions for Probation and Children’s Social Care in the public and voluntary sectors.
Frances thrives on enabling partners to come together, from different organisations, making connections. She enjoys supporting partners to draw on their diverse skills and experience and be informed by the voices of people they work with to achieve genuine impact.
Frances brings significant senior leadership experience from working in Justice and Children’s Social Care at a local and national level. Previous roles include Deputy Chief of HM Inspectorate of Probation. As a Senior Civil Servant she led work that improved services for victims, and was responsible for the establishment of community projects that provided alternatives to custodial sentences for women offenders. She was the Strategic Director for vulnerable children and families at Catch 22 delivering services and testing innovative approaches.
Frances lives in London and is an avid theatre-goer. She also loves travelling, in particular learning about different cultures and through walking getting to know places.
