About Fasia

Fasia Hanif is the Finance and Operations Assistant at Innovation Unit, supporting the organisation’s day-to-day finance and operational activities, ensuring everything runs efficiently and accurately behind the scenes while providing reliable support to colleagues, clients and associates.

She enjoys the variety that comes with working across finance and operations, where no two days are the same. She is motivated by solving problems, improving processes, making systems easier to use and helping people navigate finance and operational procedures with confidence. She takes pride in being dependable, organised, and approachable, and is committed to continuously developing her skills while building a long-term career in finance.

Over the past five years, Fasia has gained experience across a broad range of finance functions, including accounts receivable, payroll, VAT, fixed assets, reconciliations, and credit control. She holds an AAT qualification and is currently studying ACCA, combining professional development with practical experience across a range of finance systems, including Xero, NetSuite, SAP, JDE Oracle, and Sage.

Outside of work, Fasia lives in Manchester and enjoys baking sweet treats, getting creative with event decorations for special occasions, watching movies, spending time with family and friends, and making time to relax and recharge.
