About Emma
Emma is an Innovation Consultant and Service Designer, and has worked across Innovation Unit’s Greater Manchester portfolio since joining in 2021.
Emma believes in the power of local people to create more equitable places and systems. She brings a blend of service design and learning development to our Greater Manchester work, enabling communities, places and organisations to design new solutions together and learn about them in real time to support lasting systems change.
A Greater Manchester resident for almost a decade, Emma cares deeply about the place she lives and the inspiring people working to reduce inequalities and transform lives. Prior to Innovation Unit, Emma volunteered at Mustard Tree and the Manchester Museum, as well as founding a young people-led health and wellbeing service at university.
In her free time, you’ll find Emma at her local CrossFit box, cooking great food with friends, and painting on anything that isn’t a canvas.
