About Emilia
Emilia is a Project and Communications Coordinator, working across the organisation's portfolio in a communications capacity.
She is driven by the belief that language can be a powerful tool for social change and for challenging systems of oppression, which is what fuels her work.
Emilia has a degree in political science and international relations, where her research explored the ‘Manosphere’ and their relationship to right-wing populism. Before joining Innovation Unit she interned at the United Nations Office Geneva in research and communications.
Emilia lives in Liverpool and grew up in the UK, USA and Switzerland. Outside of work, she enjoys going to gigs with her friends, searching the charity shops for bargains and walks along the Sefton Coast.
