About Christine

Christine leads the design and delivery of community-led innovation programmes that drive social impact and better outcomes for communities. Her work focuses on creating new, efficient ways of working—shaped by communities and co-designed with the public sector.

She joined from People Powered Results (Nesta), where she led Scotland's portfolio. Previously, she was a clinician and academic specialising in neurodivergent children and roles as a Scottish Quality and Safety Fellow and National Improvement Advisor.

Christine supports communities to lead and influence new ways of working with the public sector and lasting social impact.

She has always been passionate about people at the heart of change and innovation: in the early part of her career with young people and families, and now working with communities. Seeing systems and organisations change, focused on what matters to people, and then seeing that change happen, even when it's messy, complicated and hard, is why she gets out of bed in the morning.

Christine lives in Edinburgh, loves travelling, music (watch out for her album covers behind her on calls) and all things outdoors, she is currently learning to ski.
