About Christina
Christina joined Innovation Unit as a Senior Associate in 2021. She leads Innovation Unit’s work in Health and Care and growing innovation capabilities across health systems.
Christina believes in the power of innovation to unlock the energy, ideas and resources that exist within communities and local organisations, and is passionate about nurturing relationships and responses which drive better health, well being and equity for everyone.
Christina has worked in many parts of the health system: in front line services, the Department of Health, 3 health and social care regulators, as a social and digital health innovation funder and coach, and as a carer. She brings all of these experiences into her work, along with humility and a curiosity for new ideas and perspectives. She is passionate about helping to connect learning within and across places, and between science, policy and action.
Christina lives with her family in Lambeth, South London, where she is also a Trustee of the Walcot Foundation, a place-based funder focused on supporting young people to thrive. Come sun, rain or snow, she’ll often be found in Brockwell Lido!
