About Bethan
Bethan is a multidisciplinary designer and educator.
She is passionate about enabling people to thrive – whether that’s designing mental health support services; helping neurodiverse designers to utilise their unique processing styles or applying a systems lens to early years development. She has a special interest in the design of services for children and young people and over a decade of experience as a young people’s facilitator.
She is passionate about design education and believes that enabling front line staff to wield the creative and reflective tools found in user centred design is key to creating lasting change.
Bethan holds a Masters in Service Design from the Royal College of Art, where she focussed on the regionalisation of UK adoption services and on classroom provision for neurodiverse children.
Bethan is a long time resident of Hackney where she enjoys embarking on ambitious making projects, life drawing and visiting the piglets at Hackney City Farm.
