We’re growing our UK team. Join us as a paid intern!

Innovation Unit is looking for an intern to join the UK team. Take a look at the details and job description below, and apply by midday on Friday 22nd March 2019.

Are you ambitious, creative and passionate about making a difference to people’s lives?

If the answer is yes, we’d like to hear from you.

Innovation Unit is recruiting an intern to work across our projects in health and social care, mental health, children’s social care, and education and learning.

Being an intern at Innovation Unit means you will work hard across our business, with a focus on supporting our project teams as part of our high-impact, innovation consultancy.

We need someone who is hungry to contribute and learn, who isn’t afraid to roll up their sleeves and get stuck in. We need someone who can handle administration and is good at paying attention to detail; someone who is a good communicator, likes working in teams and is also good at getting on with work on their own.

The role is varied, and may include playing an active research role in project work; providing support to our Innovation Consultants and our Office Manager, in London and out at meetings and events with clients. We need someone who can work with all kinds of people, in schools and hospitals, local authorities and CCGs, charities and social enterprises.

You will need to think and learn fast, be proactive and take responsibility for your own work and development. The work we do can be challenging, but also varied, interesting, and inspiring!

If this sounds like you, take a look at the details of the role and application process here, and apply by 12pm (midday) on Friday 22 March 2019.

We will be running a full day session for candidates to meet the team, make a presentation, have an interview, and do some tasks relating to the role, at our offices on Wednesday 3 April 2019.

We will let all applicants know whether they have been selected for interview. Due to the volume of applications received we will not be able to offer personal feedback on applications. Please note we do not refund travel expenses for interviews.

This role is fixed-term for 9 months with the possibility of extension to 12 months; salary of £22,000 pa.
