Zoe is committed to supporting a genuine shift in the way we get support from public services, starting from what’s most important to people and families, and what it takes to live a good life in our communities.
Zoe joined the Innovation Unit in June 2020 after over 20 years in health and social care developing complex change programmes at a local, regional and national level. She currently co-leads delivery of person and community-centred approaches for the Greater Manchester Health and Social Care Partnership. Before this Zoe headed up the national implementation of some of NHS England’s key priorities on personalisation, including supporting the piloting and roll out of personal health budgets.
Zoe’s background is working with people with a learning disability and she was lter part of the team the Department of Health established to support delivery of its ‘Valuing People’ White Paper back in 2002. She is interested in real pragmatic change and helps organise mutual aid where she lives. In her work with the Innovation Unit she currently supports the introduction of Living Well in Derbyshire.
