Bedfordshire East School Trust

The 22 schools in the mid-Bedfordshire area form a natural three-tier community, and they ahve had close collaborative arrangements for a number of years. However, they wish to move joint working to a new level and to secure the arrangements beyond annually renewable joint agreements.

In April 2008, they commissioned The Innovation Unit to support school leaders and governors with the task of achieving Multi-School Trust status, building leadership capacity and designing a new model of governance for the Trust.
