Learning Futures: increasing meaningful student engagement

Learning Futures was a programme designed to get young people engaged actively and positively with their learning, achieving better outcomes and retaining a commitment to learning beyond school. We are now looking for people interested in becoming an 'Engaging School'.

You can learn all about Learning Futures at our flipped conferences in June and July. Read more, and find out how to sign up, here.

If you're interested in learning more about how to become an 'Engaging School' come to our exciting flipped conferences - click here for more information. We're looking for school leaders of current and new schools, including free schools and academies to become 'Engaging Schools' so give us a call if you're interested.

Why did we focus on engagement? Engagement matters: if you don’t feel engaged in what you’re doing, you won’t care about it, and you’re unlikely to succeed. If you aren’t engaged in your learning in school, this is likely to affect not only your academic achievement, but also your future engagement in work, and in your community.

In partnership with the Paul Hamlyn Foundation, we have worked with secondary schools across England to develop innovative approaches to teaching and learning that foster engagement. Learn more by watching this video.
